ELECTROLOSIS - SOME HISTORY

Electrolysis has been used for more than 140 years
beginning with Dr. Charles E. Michel (1833-1913),
a St. Louis Missouri eye doctor, who, in 1875,
reported that he had been performing electrolysis
since 1869 to remove ingrown eye lashes.

Electrolysis is the only method of hair removal classified by the FDA as permanent.
All other methods are either temporary or can permanently reduce, but not eliminate, unwanted hair.

PHASES OF HAIR GROWTH
& ELECTROLOSIS

There are 3 phases of hair growth:
anagen (growth), catagen (transitional),
and telogen (dormant).
Electrolysis treats hair
in its active and catagen stages.

The treatments are most effective during the
anagen phase.

Consultations

All consultations are free. During a consultation, you will fill out a client information form, which we will go over together. You will see a short video about the electrolysis, and will be able to ask questions. If you wish, a treatment can be scheduled to immediately follow the consultation.
